The Reception Supervisor ensures all aspects Reception and Front of House are carried out to the highest standards on a day-to-day basis.
Report into Accommodation Line Manager and assist the business operations, including Reception and Housekeeping.
Manage and coordinate Reception functions for the business. Analyse and plan Check in and check out procedures, and Health and Safety room standards department.
Coordinate pre check in calls ensuring all guests are fully informed prior to arrival, reducing dwell time during check in and smooth staycation information
Ensure all upsells and pre-payment/pre arrival targets are achieved
Assist with Housekeeping rota systems and Reservation Systems updates
Assist in recruiting, supervising, training, of front of house teams. Ensure they provide guests with exceptional service
Carry out effective training for FOH team around audit processes to ensure service standards are uniform throughout the day.
Ensure teams look the part clothing and company uniform standards are adhered to.
Assist in checking rooms in accordance with room standards
Ownership of immediate guest related guest inquiries and resolve customer complaints.
Always represent the company in a professional and positive manner. Maintain and enhance the company’s image when interacting with clients, guests, associates, and suppliers.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Clerical skills including typing, filing, till register operation, maintenance of records, and the ability to undertake multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Computer proficiency with the ability to utilize MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Demonstrated talent for interacting with guest and savvy approach to enhancing a fantastic check in procedure that is unique to Gulliver’s
- Ability to arrange and coordinate booking systems, identifying issues prior to guests arriving.
