Retail & Catering Manager
We are looking for a fun and versatile Retail and Catering Manager to join our Management Team at Gulliver’s Theme Park & Resort in Warrington.
Reporting to the Commercial manager, you will be entirely responsible for all retail, food and beverage aspects of the business. You will be required to lead, manage, and inspire a team of approx. 90 team members across the Resort with the aim to maximise and grow sales, profit, service & quality. By leading your supervisors and their teams, you will deliver a common purpose of providing outstanding service and creating an amazing guest experience and a great place to work. You will need to build strong relationships with other departments and work collaboratively to deliver the overall resort guest experience and continuously improve on feedback.

Activities Experience Lead
We are recruiting an experienced Activities specialist to take our daytime & overnight adventure to the next level. Reporting to the Group Experience Manager, you'll lead the team to bring alive our experiences to include Theme Park Daytime & Resort Guests, Activity Sleepovers, and badge groups.
Our range of activities offer a perfect blend of excitement, exploration, and comfort. With a wide range of accommodation options to suit every group, from cozy en-suite units to outdoor glamping, we provide the ideal base for adventure and a great chance for families to experience and discover new things. Some of our core offer includes Well Being sessions, Bushcraft, Climbing Walls, Archery, Nature Detectives, Reptile Encounters & Disc Golf.
- You will ensure the planning, training, implementation & health & safety measures happen to enable the smooth running of the Activities & Experience programme.
- You will be responsible for driving & maintaining the highest standards in delivery of both the activity & experience programme.
- You will support with facilitating and developing a
fun culture that promotes and encourages the general wellbeing, motivation, and
morale of your team, whilst ensuring effective performance management
strategies are maintained.
This role will be key to plan, motivate and develop team members associated within these areas and to drive and develop demand. There is further opportunity to collaborate to influence and enhance the commercial management of the programme and the offer into the future.

Our family Theme Park Resorts are thriving, which means we need more great leaders for the future. Following the huge success of our Trainee Manager programme, we are delighted to announce its return, now in its 11th year!
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing business in a challenging leadership role at one of Gulliver’s theme park resorts at Warrington, Milton Keynes, Matlock Bath or Rother Valley.
With a hands-on approach and excellent communication skills, you’ll be used to organising and dealing with customers, be innovative with your ideas and have an infectious enthusiasm that engages and inspires those around you.
The Trainee Manager programme is structured over a 12 month period and will include:
- A number of placements across different areas of the business
- A unique industry training programme to develop skills and knowledge.
- Senior level mentors from within the business
- Ownership of bespoke projects which will challenge skills and develop learning.
You’ll be a high energy, ambitious individual who is prepared to work hard to gain experience and develop new skills in order to progress into more senior leadership roles within the business.
You will be able to demonstrate evidence of a strong work ethic from your previous experiences, powerful interpersonal prowess, and an equally talented vibe for delivering the very best of guest experiences.
The ability to work across all of our UK locations during the 12 month training period is essential, during which time accommodation will be provided.
