Gulliver's World is looking for a Catering Manager to join our team.

You will...

  • Support the Revenue Manager across all catering units within a designated area of the park
  • Co-ordinate and supervise staff, the cleanliness and well being of the restaurants and ensuring a high standard of food safety
  • Ensure all catering units are well merchandised, stocked and presented, and our customer service standards are maintained

Key Responsibilities

  • To help ensure the safety of all guests and staff
  • To motivate, delegate a team of people assigned to you during the day
  • To ensure your allocated area is kept clean
  • To train staff to enable them to do there jobs effectively as per the companies policies and procedures
  • To ensure all company paperwork is completed correctly and then filed efficiently
  • To ensure all catering units are run effectively
  • To ensure the companies uniform policy is adhered to
  • To discipline staff in line with the companies disciplinary procedure where required
  • To give and manage our staff to give good levels of customer service
  • To cover lunch breaks through out the day, and as and when needed within your designated area
  • To ensure all units are well merchandised, stocked and presented and correctly priced
  • To ensure good practice within stores area and within units is maintained i.e. stock rotation
  • To help with stock ordering as and when required
  • To help ensure all stores and freezer areas are kept well maintained and clean
  • To assist with deliveries in/ out and internal deliveries (units)
  • To ensure the safety/ security of all stock stored on the park
  • To cash up tills within your area ensuring the company cash handling procedure is followed at all times
  • To keep till discrepancies to a minimum and report any problems that may occur
  • To help keep accurate stock take records
  • To help motivate the team to help increase revenue and improve productivity
  • To ensure we comply with all Trading Standards, EHO and H & S regulations
  • To ensure a high level of food product is served

Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts have been providing magic to children and families for over 45 years. We are now undertaking top-up Casting for Rangers who lead our Residential activities for schools and groups.  

Help take our overnight adventure to the next level on our activity sleepovers, where we offer a perfect blend of excitement, exploration, and comfort. Providing visitors with a wide range of accommodation options to suit every group, from cozy en-suite units to outdoor glamping, we provide the ideal base for your adventure. We are looking for interactive team players who can spend their days immersing children and adults in thrilling activities, from climbing walls to archery, and evenings filled with laughter and camaraderie around a firepit or engaging in interactive sessions. You will be embracing the great outdoors in the woodland areas of our theme parks as well as themed indoors areas delivering bushcraft, firefighting, den building or being the face of nature activities for educational sleep-overs and activity camps. Full concept training provided.

Gulliver’s Theme Park Resorts have been providing magic to children and families for over 45 years. We are now undertaking top-up Casting for various roles within our experience team, with year-round contracts opportunities (including Christmas & New Year) at our theme park resorts.  

2025/26 on-resort experiences include concerts, street theatre, character concerts, fireworks spectaculars and Bing & Flop special daily appearances with a staged production.

We are now Casting roles across Gulliver’s with flexible working patterns across autumn and winter.

DANCERS – all styles to perform in fully staged and produced daytime & evening staged events, well-being concepts and character experiences.

ACTORS, STAGE PRESENTERS & EVENT HOSTS to bring alive family concepts, street theatre experiences and live game shows.

ADVENTURE RANGERS - you will be embracing the great outdoors in the woodland areas of our theme parks, delivering bushcraft, firefighting, den building or being the face of nature activities for educational sleepovers. Full concept training provided.

Working hours at 11pm - 7am

In this job you would need customer service skills to welcome guests and see to their needs. You should have a smart appearance and always be willing to go above and beyond for our guests.

This opportunity would suit anyone aged 16 or over (must have left school), with various shifts on offer working a minimum of three days a week.

Our family Theme Park Resorts are thriving, which means we need more great leaders for the future. Following the huge success of our Trainee Manager programme, we are delighted to announce its return, now in its 11th year!

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing business in a challenging leadership role at one of Gulliver’s theme park resorts at Warrington, Milton Keynes, Matlock Bath or Rother Valley.

With a hands-on approach and excellent communication skills, you’ll be used to organising and dealing with customers, be innovative with your ideas and have an infectious enthusiasm that engages and inspires those around you.

The Trainee Manager programme is structured over a 12 month period and will include:

  • A number of placements across different areas of the business
  • A unique industry training programme to develop skills and knowledge.
  • Senior level mentors from within the business
  • Ownership of bespoke projects which will challenge skills and develop learning.

You’ll be a high energy, ambitious individual who is prepared to work hard to gain experience and develop new skills in order to progress into more senior leadership roles within the business.

You will be able to demonstrate evidence of a strong work ethic from your previous experiences, powerful interpersonal prowess, and an equally talented vibe for delivering the very best of guest experiences.

The ability to work across all of our UK locations during the 12 month training period is essential, during which time accommodation will be provided.
