As the full-time permanent AV Engineer, youll be supporting all Gulliver's Theme Park Resorts based in Warrington. You'll ensure the presentation of the technical aspects for our experiences and events are produced, delivered safely, cost-effectively and on time. You’ll be running our in-house recordings facilities, producing the creative output of all show soundtracks, voice recordings, background sound, experience soundtracks and any digital media.
You'll oversee the technical production process, coordinating all production activities and operations. You'll be responsible for:
- Driving the quality standards in technical delivery across all resorts and special events
- Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed for all events, lantern festivals, firework displays and special events
- Plan and draw up an annual production schedule and critical path
- Collating a stock inventory and blueprint for all our venues and stages
- Recommend, source and order the resources that are required to ensure all of our experiences can be delivered across all Resorts, ensuring stock levels remain adequate
- Make recommendations on all equipment and take responsibility for its installation, maintenance and training for operation
- Organise the repair of any damaged equipment across all resorts
- Ensure the sourcing of technical equipment is cost effective, estimating costs to the Group Experience Director
- Programme and designing lighting across all resorts
- Liaison with Resorts Directors, Creative Director, different departments, teams and any external companies, e.g. suppliers, managers, clients
- Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed at all times
- Running and operating of the recording studio facilities

Requirements / Qualifications
- Ideally experienced with a comprehensive understanding of both sound & lighting
- Operating knowledge of Pro tools is essential
- Experienced in audio engineering, sound production and editing
- Working experience of recording, mixing and mastering digital recordings
